摘　　要：李约瑟问题争论已久,本文基于中、美两幅棉包图像信息,从两国对技术与科学认识关系的态度以及对工业的态度阐述李约瑟问题在棉包技术上的反映。本文认为近代中国之所以落后于西方,一方面在于中国资本主义萌芽的发展方向走错了,它走了一条奢侈化商品道路;另一方面中国的技术与科学认识分离,中国在技术上走的是经验主义道路。Joseph Needham problem has been debated for a long time. Based on two pieces of image information of American and China cotton bags,this paper compared with the different understanding between technology and science from China and America at first, then it expound Joseph Needham problem reflected on cotton bags. It concluded that two reasons can expound why Chinese behind in the West,one reason is the development direction of the capitalism in China went wrong,it took a luxury goods Road,on the other hand, knowledge and technology were separated in China,Chinese technique went by empiricism.
