摘 要:理论分析了纤芯错位对激光输出功率及光束质量的影响,研究表明,纤芯错位后纤芯中的各个模式均有一定的功率衰耗,且基模总会向高阶模耦合,导致光束质量下降。采用20/400μm的双包层掺镱光纤,搭建了高功率全光纤激光振荡系统,实验研究了谐振腔外纤芯错位、谐振腔内纤芯错位以及谐振腔内和谐振腔外纤芯同时错位几种不同的情况对输出激光性能的影响,结果表明,谐振腔内纤芯错位和谐振腔外纤芯错位都会造成激光器性能的下降,但谐振腔内纤芯错位将导致激光器功率明显下降,而谐振腔内和谐振腔外同时错位会导致激光器光束质量急剧下降。A theoretical model is established, and the effect of core dislocation on laser power and beam quality is analyzed theoretically. It is indicated that each mode in the core will lose a part of power when core dislocation occurred in the fiber, and the basic mode will couple to a higher order mode, which will reduce the beam quality. A high power all fiber laser oscillation sys tern was built using a 20/400 μm double clad ytterbium doped fiber. The effects of core dislocation on laser performance were re searched experimentally while the core dislocation occurred in cavity, out of cavity or both. It is found that the laser performance will be reducing when the core dislocation occurred either in cavity or out of cavity. The core dislocation occurred in cavity will lead to a big decrease of the laser power while the core dislocation occurred both in cavity and out of cavity will lead to a great de crease of the beam quality.
