摘　　要：随着近些年来全球各国文化交流愈来愈频繁,各类文化彼此碰撞与交融,假如不对西方国家的文化以及风土人情、价值观具有准确的认识,就容易导致不同文化之间出现误解甚至冲突.文学作为文化十分重要的载体之一,立足于对英美文学实施研究,是探究英美国家文化的重要手段.本文探讨了文化意识和英美文学研究之间的关系,介绍了形成文化意识必须贯彻的几点原则,分析了当前英美文学研究的现状,并提出了文化意识下的英美文学研究策略.With the constant cultural inter-communication of different countries in the world these years, different cultures collideand converge. Misunderstanding and even conflicts may occur without the accurate recognition of the cultures, customs and valuesof the western countries. As literature being one of the most important embodiments of culture, research on the British andAmerican literature, obviously, proves the crucial approach to explore the culture of Britain and the US. This article talks about therelationship between cultural consciousness and the British and American literature research, introduces some principles to formcultural consciousness, analyzes the present situation of the British and American literature research, and presents several strategies todo research on the British and American literature under cultural consciousness.
