摘　　要：在阐释土家族医药及其传承方式的基础上,通过若干医药实践案例,讨论了土家族医药在现代适应过程中面临的问题,认为社会需求与文化认同是土家族医药得以生存和融合的基本本质。The author makes an attempt, by depicting the practical scene and state quo of the Tujia medicine, to reveal the problems occurring in,its transformation and integration into the modernity. It is believed that the social need and cultural identity are the basic roots for the Tujia medicine to survive and integrate.
