摘　　要：临港服务业是港口涉外经济的重要组成部分,从业人员外语能力决定了临港服务业的发展水平.本研究对宁波临港服务业从业人员外语能力进行调查.通过对调查结果的分析,提出建立临港服务业专业外语课程开发体系的构想并对临港服务业涉外人才培养与教学策略进行了探讨,希望能够对我国ESP教学提供参考.Port service industry is an important part of port foreign-related economy, its practitioners foreign language capacity determines the port service industry^s e development level. This study investigated Ningbo Port service industry practitioner＇s language capability. Through the analysis of the results of the survey, the author proposed the idea of con- structing Port service industry professional foreign language curriculum system. This article also explored the cultivation of Port service industry foreign-related talent and the teaching strategies, in hope of the reference to the ESP education.
