摘　　要：从旅游文化研究历史演进的角度,梳理了国外旅游文化及其研究的嬗变过程,归纳了国外旅游文化研究的基本特征:注重从人本主义的角度出发;旅游文化研究已超越旅游经济的研究成为旅游研究的主导方向;重视应用研究,轻基础理论研究;多以旅游的社会文化影响为着眼点,旅游文化成为旅游研究最重要的视角。这些研究成果对旅游文化学学科建设具有重要启示意义。From the angle of tourism cultural and historical evolution,the paper elaborates foreign tourism culture and the research process of its studies,and summarizes the basic characteristics：focusing on humanism;there are more studies on tourism culture than tourism economy,and tourism cultural has become the main direction of tourism researches;emphasizing on application study instead of basic theory study;attaching importance to social impacts of tourism culture,and tourism cultural has become the vital perspective of the research.
