美国高校“新生共同阅读计划”及其启示

摘　　要：美国高校"新生共同阅读计划"是新生教育的重要内容。该计划希望通过师生共同阅读达到促进新生主动投入学习和研究、培养新生共同体意识及营造大学学术氛围的目标,并具有严格选择共同阅读书目、注重讨论、与新生课程有机结合、提倡与作家面对面交流、注重不同学科领域的交叉和综合等特色。美国高校"新生共同阅读计划"有助于提高新生学习和研究的积极性,有助于培养其共同体意识、批判性思维方式及信息素养,对改进我国高校阅读活动有一定借鉴意义。The ＂freshman common reading program＂ of the university in America is the Important content of the freshman education. It aims to promote the freshman to learn and research actively, cultivate the community consciousness of the freshman, and construct the academic atmosphere of the university. It has following characteristics： selecting the common reading bibliography strictly, emphasizing the discussion, combining with curriculums of the freshman, advocating the face-to-face communication with the author, and focusing on the intersection and integration of different discipline fields. It is helpful to enhance the enthusiasm of learning and researching for the freshman, and cultivate the community consciousness, the critical thinking mode and the information literacy of the freshman. It has a certain reference significance for improving the reading activity of the university in China.
