摘　　要：近代英国的国债和纸币在促进经济发展的同时,也导致税收加重和通货膨胀等问题。激进派威廉·科贝特抨击国债政策对普通民众的侵害,提出解决国债负担和纸币贬值问题的一系列主张,他的批判指出国债潜在的危害,为后人解决同类问题提供了重要依据。While promoting the economic growth,the British national debt and paper currency led to some problems such as aggravated tax and inflation.William Cobbett,a Radical,criticized the infringement on the ordinary people by the national debt policies,putting forward a series of proposals to solve the national debt and depreciation of the money currency.His criticism pointed out the potential risk of the national debt,and provided the important basis for the later generation to solve the similar problem.
