Determinating the Polysaccharide Content of Wild and Cultivated Pterocephalus hookeri in Gannan Plateau

摘  要:翼首草[Pterocephalus hookeri(Clarke)Hoeck]系川续断科翼首花属植物匙叶翼首花全草,富含植物多糖,块根可入药。通过超声波提取法从翼首草根部提取多糖,采用苯酚-硫酸比色法对其含量进行测定。结果表明,超声波提取的甘南高原野生翼首草的多糖含量为18.78 mg/100 mL,超声波提取的甘南高原人工栽培翼首草多糖含量为20.63 mg/100 mL,可见人工栽培翼首草根部多糖含量明显高于野生的。Pterocephalus hookeri (Clarke) Hoeck is a herb belonging to family of Dipsacaceae,genus of Pterocephalus Adans,riched in plant polysaccharides.Its root can be used as medicine.The ultrasonic extraction method was used to extract the polysaccharide in the root of P.hookeri.The content of polysaccharide was detected by the method of phenol-sulfuric acid colorimetry.Results showed that content of ultrasonic extracted polysaccharide in wild P.hookeri of Gannan plateau was 18.78 mg/100 mL.Content of ultrasonic extracted polysaccharide in artificial cultivation of P.hookeri of Gannan plateau was 20.63 mg/100 mL.The content of polysaccharide in root of artificial cultivation of P.hookeri was obviously higher than that in the wild P.hookeri.
