摘　　要：家庭牧场在国内外被认为是一个具体的资源管理和利用单元。面对草地资源正在逐步短缺,草地生态环境亟待恢复,农牧民生活水平亟待提高的现状,传统的草地畜牧业生产已经很难满足生态保护和经济增收的双重要求。本文就国内外家庭牧场相关文献进行梳理,概述了家庭牧场的发生发展及典型示例,总结提出了新形势下我国家庭牧场的定义,并认为资源整合和管理系统化是今后家庭牧场规模经济发展的趋势。Family farms are the primary management unit in China. In traditional grassland production sys terns, it is difficult to ensure ecological protection while improving income because of threats such as the gradu al reduction in the grassland resource, grassland degradation and the low socioeconomic status of herders. This study reviewed the development of family farms in grassland regions around the world, identifying different ownership and management models, and suggests a definition of family farms in China. It is proposed that the integration of grassland resources and management are important for achieving economies of scale on family farms.
