摘　　要：刺桐属树种具有独特的观赏价值和丰富的文化内涵,在我国华南地区园林中被广泛应用。通过对该属主要观赏种的植物学特性、利用价值的分析,归纳其代表的多重文化意象,总结其园林应用范围和形式,并针对刺桐属植物在园林应用中的问题进行初步探讨,提出应加强刺桐属野生优良树种资源的引种驯化,研究完善刺桐属植物栽培繁殖技术体系,科学合理地进行绿化树种配置,促进刺桐属植物在城乡绿化建设中发挥更大的作用。Tree species of Erythrina,w hich have unique ornam entalvalue and rich culturalconnotations,are w idely used in gardens in south C hina.The botanicalcharacteristics and use value of the m ain ornam entalspecies are introduced.The m ultiple culturalim agery they represented and the application scope and form are sum m arized in orderto provide a reference forthe com prehensive utilization of Erythrina in varioustypesof landscaping.M eanw hile,prelim inary discussion on the prospectsand problem sofErythrina are explored.
