摘 要:在现代大学这一特殊的社会文化组织中,教授需要治学,也需要治校,主导治学与参与治校是统一的。从大学发展的历史轨迹看,整体趋势是教授参与治校,也主导治学,二者并非非此即彼;从现代大学实际运行看,治学与治校主体通常交叉,绝非某一主体独享某一专有领地;从教授治学与教授治校的内在逻辑看,二者有区别也有联系,并非截然对立。当今中国要切实建立教授主导治学、参与治校的大学治理结构,在理性层面上应着力认识其深刻的内在缘由;在实践层面上应努力探寻其适宜的相应路径。At modern university, which is a special social and cultural organization, there is a unity between facuhy's dominant role in academic affairs and facuhy's participation in university governance. The internal logic of faculty governing academic affairs and faculty's participation in university governance, the history of university development, and the running of modern university combine to prove that facuhy's dominant role in academic affairs and facuhy's participation in university governance are mutually compatible rather than mutually exclusive. In today's China, it is imperative to clarify the inherent causes and build appropriate paths in order to establish a university governance system with faculty playing a dominant role in academic affairs and participating in university governance.
