摘　　要：城镇化是社会发展的必然过程,旅游业的发展是西部民族地区城镇化建设的一股重要力量。在借鉴相关研究的基础上,结合西部民族地区的经济社会和资源实际状况,围绕西部少数民族农村地区旅游城镇化发展面临的资金短缺,开发条件不足等主要问题进行探讨并提出相应改善建议,在此基础上构建西部少数民族农村地区旅游城镇化发展模式。Urbanization is inevitable during the course of social development, the development of tourism is an important force for the eonstruefion of urbanization in west ethnie region . On the base of reference to related studies, combining with the aetualities of economy, society and resources, analyzing the problem of shortage of funds and insufficient conditions for tourism development around the tourism urbanization in the west ethnic rural region, at the same time giving the relevant suggestions, on this basis, the development model of tourism promoting urbanization in west ethnic rural region are being put forward.
