摘 要:采用铜模吸铸法制备了(Cu50Zr45Al5)100-xSmx(x=0,1,2,3,4)板状合金试样。用差热扫描量热分析(Differential scanning calorimetry,DSC)、差热分析(Differential thermal analysis,DTA)和X射线衍射分析(X-ray diffraction,XRD)研究了Sm微合金化对Cu50Zr45Al5非晶合金结构与热稳定性的影响。采用Na I(T1)单晶γ闪烁能谱仪测定了(Cu50Zr45Al5)99Sm1非晶合金对γ射线的线性吸收系数。结果表明,当Sm含量低于3%(at%)时制备的板状合金为完全的非晶结构,超过3%会有Cu10Zr7和Zr Cu等金属间化合物析出。Sm的微量添加增加了合金的热稳定性。制备的(Cu50Zr45Al5)99Sm1非晶合金对137Cs和60Co两种γ射线的线性吸收系数分别为0.49 cm-1和0.69 cm-1。其屏蔽性能介于Pb和Al之间,具有潜在的应用价值。Background: Amorphous alloy has special application prospects in nuclear reactors and electromagnetic fields because of its excellent shielding properties. Purpose: This paper attempts to study the effects of minor addition Sm on the microstructure, glass-forming ability and thermal stability of the Cu-based Cu50Zr45A15 bulk metallic glass (BMG) and the γ-ray shielding properties of the Cu-Zr-A1-Sm amorphous alloys. Methods: (CusoZr45A15)100-xSmx (x=0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) alloys plates are prepared by copper mold suction casting. The microstructure, thermal stability and the γ-ray shielding properties of the prepared samples are carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeters (DSC), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and NaI(T1) scintillation gamma spectrometer. Results: The experimental results show that the Cu10Zr7 and ZrCu phases are precipitated when Sm addition exceeds 3%(at%), otherwise the alloys are fully amorphous state. Minor addition Sm improved the thermal stability of the base alloy. The linear absorption coefficient of (CusoZr45A15)99Sm1 amorphous alloys against 137Cs and 60C0 γ-ray are 0.49 cm-1 and 0.69 cm l, respectively. Conclusion: The shielding property of (Cu50Zr45A15)99Sm1 BMG is between Pb and A1, and has potential application value.
