摘　　要：侯外庐先生1950-1958年间曾任西北大学校长,主持该校各项工作成绩斐然,在千万师生的心目中留下了深刻的印象。在此,本文仅以侯外庐先生在图书馆领域开拓与发展的实践为切入点,挖掘整理侯外庐先生图书馆理论形成的轨迹和图书馆事业发展的理论依据,通过对教育家侯外庐图书馆事业的创新与贡献实证探索,重新展示教育家侯外庐先生图书馆实践之历程。Hou Wailu is an admirable scholar in education sector. From 1950 to 1958, he served as president of Northwestern University. During his tenure, he had made brilliant achievements in presiding over the work of Northwestern University, so he left a deep impression on the minds of millions of teachers and students. Hereon, only from Hou Wailffs practices of exploration and development in the library field as the starting point, is the first time to dig and collate Hou Wailu＇s trajectory of the formation of the library theory and the basis for the library career theory. Through empirical exploration on educator Hou Wailffs innovation and contribution of the library career, to show again educator Hou Wailffs practice course of the library career.
