摘 要:系统研究了基于周期性极化铌酸锂(PPLN)的Solc型平顶滤波器的温度与电场调谐特性,并给出两种调谐方式的调谐率与优缺点。研究了占空比为0.5的PPLN Solc型平顶滤波器的透射谱对温度的依赖关系,发现透射谱的平顶状并没有因为温度改变而破坏,同时最大透射率也没有衰减,当温度从268 K~328 K变化时,中心透过波长从1570~1528 nm连续变化。进一步研究基于占空比为0.75的PPLN滤波器的电场调谐特性,发现Solc型滤波器透射谱在外加电场作用下依然保持平顶状,且中心波长随外电场变化成线性关系。由于电场调谐源于电光效应,其响应速度可达亚纳秒,拥有温度调谐方式无法比拟的快速响应速度,但受限于击穿电压的限制,其调谐范围比温度调谐要小。The characteristics of temperature tuning and electrical tuning of flat-top Solc-type filter based on periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) is studied systematically, and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. The influence of temperature on the transmission spectrum of the filter made of PPLN with duty cycle of 0.5 is studied. The transmission spectrum still shows a flat-top one, and the central passing wavelength covers from 1570 nm to 1528 nm when the temperature varies from 268 K to 328 K. It is found that the central passing wavelength of the filter made of PPLN with duty cycle of 0.75 can be tuned electrically while the shape of flat-top transmission spectrum keeps unchanged. Since the electrical tuning is from electro-optic effect, its response time reaches sub-nanosecond which is much faster than that of temperature tuning. Due to the threshold of the external electrical field, the electrical tuning range is limited.
