摘　　要：图书馆的职能演变和国内外一些成功的建设经验已经证明高校图书馆正逐步成为宿舍和教室以外的第三空间。改变以资源建设为中心,建立以读者为中心的评价机制,合理调整图书馆的空间和环境布局,增加休闲交流设施,建设真心服务的馆员队伍,提高图书馆整体的服务水平,是将高校图书馆建设成第三空间的关键。The functions＇ transformation of the library and the successful construction experiences home and abroad have already proved that the college library has gradually become the third space besides dormitories and classro- oms. The keys to transform the college library to the third space are ： establishing a reader - centered evaluation mechanism instead of resource construction - centered mechanism,properly adjusting the spatial and environmental arrangement,increasing recreation and communication facilities, organizing a team offering sincere service and im- proving the overall service level of the library.
