摘 要:Feedback is essential to both instructors and learners in education circles. On the part of learners, it enhances the learning process since the learners are core in the teaching-learning process. To this effect, it is the learners who are in the best position to make a judgment on the effectiveness of the feedback they receive from their lecturers. However, there can be a misfit between teacher feedback and what the learners expect to get. This research focused on Solusi University students' responses to their lecturers' written feedback. Interviews and document analysis were used for data collection. Findings revealed that the students are in dire need of lecturers' feedback which they value very much although, at times, they do not understand it. Also, students' analyzed texts showed that lecturers spend considerable time marking and commenting on students' work, which has, when understood and put into practice, a positive impact on furthering the students' academic learning.
