永续型奖学金的管理——盖茨与罗兹奖学金的启示

摘　　要：我国高等教育领域大额捐款不断增加,设立永续型奖学金可以使这些资金发挥长期作用,而如何管理永续型奖学金则成为我国高等教育管理的迫切课题。分别设立于剑桥大学和牛津大学的盖茨奖学金和罗兹奖学金是堪称典范的永续型奖学金,二者在治理结构、资产管理和学者选拔与联系方面的成功经验,可为我国高校永续型奖学金的创立和管理工作提供有益的启示。Large donations to higher education have increased recently in China,and using the donation to establish endowed scholarships can exert long term effects. How to manage the endowed scholarships has becoming the emergent subject to be studied in the higher education management of China. The Gates and the Rhodes Scholarships in the University of Oxford and Cambridge are the typical endowed scholarships,and their successful experiences of governance structure,asset management and admission for scholars and outreach activities are studied in the paper,which will provide beneficial inspirations for the establishment and management work of the endowed scholarships in the universities of China.
