摘　　要：词汇量匮乏是许多学生在英语学习过程中的"拦路虎",准备参加GRE考试的考生对此更是深有体会。基于此,以GRE词汇为例,探讨如何运用认知语言学的范畴化理论改进学生们的词汇学习方法,提高未知词汇的习得效率,加深已知词汇的记忆程度。The lack of vocabulary is the obstacle for many students in their English study and those preparing for GRE fully understand it. Therefore, taking GRE vocabulary for example, this paper discusses how to apply categorization theory of cognitive linguistics to improving students＇ vocabulary learning methods, enhancing the acquisition efficiency of unknown vocabulary and deepening the memorization of known vocabulary.
