The Influence of Two Elastomers in TPX / PP Blends

摘  要:将聚4-甲基戊烯-1(TPX),聚丙烯(PP)与不同的弹性体三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)/Versify2300按不同比例进行共混,挤出造粒并注塑成型。研究了不同共混物的力学性能、熔融结晶性能、动态热力学性能及微观形态结构。研究发现,同种配比下,Versify2300对改善共混物的拉伸强度优于EPDM与TPX/PP的共混物,冲击强度则相反。EPDM共混物样条在-18℃左右会出现一个低温玻璃化转变,在60℃左右会出现一个高温玻璃化转变,而Versify2300共混样条只出现一个高温玻璃化转变。Versify2300的加入可以明显改善与TPX/PP共混的相容性。In this paper, the blend of polymethylpentene (TPX), polypropylene (PP) and ethylene- propylene rubber (EPDM)/Versify2300 was prepared by twin-screw extruder and injection molding. The mechanical properties, crystallization and melting behavior, the dynamic thermal mechanical analysis and micro-morphological structure of different blends were studied. The results showed for the same total mass, on the same proportion, the tensile strength of Versify2300 blend was better than that of EPDM and TPX/PP blend, but the impact strength was the opposite. EPDM blends showed the glass transitions at low temperature about - 18 ℃ and high temperature about 60 ℃, but Versify2300 just showed a high glass transition.' The addition of Versify2300 obviously improved the compatibility of TPX/PP blends.
