摘　　要：研究了种子填充算法(the seed filling algorithm)在三维铸造工艺CAD快速预测及显示热节过程中的应用,给出了一个铸件应用实例。并利用华铸CAE对铸件孤立液相区域进行模拟验证,CAE模拟结果与铸造工艺CAD中的模拟结果相符。这能够缩短用户制定合理铸造工艺的时间,提高工艺设计效率。This paper introduced the application of the seed filling algorithm to the rapid prediction and display of thermal centres by 3D casting process software. In this case, we give an example of successful application to a casting factory. We have also used CAE software to help us to do the simulation of the isolated liquid region, the results of our 3D casting process simulation match with the CAE＇s simulation results. So we can use this simulation software of 3D casting process which is based on UG to help the casting process designers to make better designs and shorten their designing time and improve the efficiency of process design.
