再论大古油栉虫属Megapalaeolenus

摘　　要：张文堂(1966)以Palaeolenus deprati Mansuy,1912为模式种建立的Megapalaeolenus Chang,1966,被广泛用作沧浪铺阶上部的三叶虫化石带。然而,近年来有人认为Palaeolenus deprati Mansuy,1912是P.douvillei Mansuy,1912的晚出异名,视Megapalaeolenus属为无效名。本文依据采自云南昆明高楼房下寒武统乌龙箐组上部Megapalaeolenus deprati(Mansuy)的新材料,结合Mansuy(1912)的模式标本进一步对Palaeolenus deprati Mansuy与P.douvillei Mansuy进行仔细对比,确证两者不是同一个种。认为Megapalaeolenus Chang,1966属应该成立。根据地层分布,Palaeolenus和Megapalaeolenus两个三叶虫属仍然可以作为中国下寒武统年代地层单位沧浪铺阶上部的两个化石带。Megapalaeolenus, which has been widely used as the last trilobite zone of the Canglangpuan Stage, was erected by W.-T. Zhang （Chang） in 1966, as based on the type species of genus Palae- olenus （P. deprati Mansuy, 1912）. However, P. deprati was recently regarded as a junior synonym of P. douvillei, and this would lead the erection of the genus Megapalaeolenus to be invalid. Based on new observations of the holotypes designated by Mansuy in 1912 and additional material of Megapalaeolenus deprati （Mansuy） collected from the upper part of the Wulongqing Formation in Gaoloufang, Kunming, Yunnan, a detailed comparison between Palaeolenus deprati and P. douvillei was carried out.
