摘　　要：近代上海居住着数量可观的欧美侨民,其中一些人在上海成家,举行婚礼。西人婚礼与中国传统婚礼在仪式与蕴含意义方面有很大差异。上海的西人婚礼以及关于这些婚礼的报道与意义阐释对中国社会产生了一定的影响,也对中国婚礼演变的走向产生一定的影响。婚礼的演变是个缓慢、复杂的过程。民国时期一些文明婚礼的形式,亦中亦西,中西混杂,就是这种演变缓慢性、复杂性的表现。The weddings of the foreign residents in Modern Shanghai is not only the concerned object of folklore,but also the content of history research. It was different from that of China and had a certain effect on Chinese society. From the ways,the beginning and ending,the hall,the formal dress and so on,the changes of wedding ceremony had a slow and intricate process in modern Shanghai.
