漫将斧钺观上古 封邦建国觅康侯 康侯斧题记  

Learning the Big History from the Small Bronze Fu

摘　　要：中国国家博物馆藏一西周早期青铜斧，器长方銎，銎口下凸起一周弦纹，短边一侧附一半环状钮，圆刃无角；器上铸铭文“康侯”（图1）。同铭器共两件，另一件藏于故宫博物院（图2）。两器系20世纪早年同出于河南浚县，为于省吾旧藏。此“康侯斧”尺寸虽小，但器中却蕴含着有关斧、钺贯穿于中国上古时期作为礼器之象征与西周初年“封建诸侯”等一系列深厚的历史信息，可谓“小中见大”。The bronze Fu of the Early Western Zhou Dynasty with an inscription Kang Hou, is now collected in the National Museum of China. The other preserved bronze which has the same inscription is stored in the Palace Museum. Both of them were excavated in Jun Xian, Henan Province in the early 20 th century and collected by Yu Shengwu. Through the small bronze Fu and its inscription,the public could learn about the abundant historical information of the ancient China.
