摘　　要：苏州图书馆始建于1914年,是国内建馆较早的公共图书馆之一。她的百年历程,也是近现代中国公共图书馆发展变化的缩影。论文以档案资料为依托,以馆址变迁为脉络,全面回顾了苏州图书馆百年来的发展历程,并对未来的发展进行了展望,以此纪念苏州图书馆百年华诞。Suzhou Library, founded in 1914, is one of the oldest public libraries in China. Her history is also the epitome of the development of the modern Chinese public library. In order to celebrate its centennial anniversary, this paper reviews the development of the library in the past century and looks forward to its better future. It is written based on lots of archives and documents, and the change of the library＇s location is chosen as the clue of the retrospect.
