摘　　要：运用文献资料法、实地调研法和逻辑推理法对鄂西北端公舞的文化特征和社会价值进行了分析探讨。得出如下结论:鄂西北端公舞的文化特征有原生态性、交融性、娱乐性和神秘性;鄂西北端公舞的社会价值有科学研究价值、健康促进价值、旅游开发价值和社会维稳价值。By using literature, investigation and logical reasoning etc, this paper analyzed Duangong dance cultural characteristics and social value. The conclusions are as follows： cultural characteristics of Duangong Dance in the Northwest of Hubei Province include original ecology, blending, entertainment and mystery. The social value of Duangong Dance in the Northwest of Hubei Province contain scientific research value, health promoting value, Tourism development value, stability maintenance value and so on.
