Objective To investigate the influence of the long‐term medical case management on patients with hyperten‐sion. Methods Sixty‐eight mail patients with grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ hypertension were randomly and equally divided into experimen‐tal group and control group. Experimental group were treated with long‐term medical case management to intervene the regular exercise and lifestyle ,and increase the medication compliance and recognition of hypertension. Control group were treated with follow‐up clinic in local. The symptom ,recognition of hypertension ,blood pressure ,BMI (Body Mass Index ) ,WC (waist circumference) ,and WHR (waist to hip ratio) were assessed after 6 months. Results Symptom and recognition of hyperten‐sion in experimental group were significant improvement than that in control group (P〈0.05)after treatment(P〈0.05). Dias‐tolic pressure(P〈0.05)and systolic pressure(P〈0.01)in experimental group were significant improvement than that in control group. BMI ,WC and WHR in experimental group were significant improvement than that in control group. Conclusion Long‐term medical case management can effectively influence the therapeutic effectiveness in patients with hypertension ,and improve the life quality.
