摘　　要：山脊线和山谷线是进行地形学形态研究的基本问题之一,本文介绍了基于DEM数据提取山谷线和山脊线的国内外研究现状,并重点介绍了基于规则格网DEM提取的方法以及实际工作中所需要注意的问题。Ridge and valley line is a fundamental problem to do research into topographic patterns. First, we introduce the present re- search status of ridge and valley line extraction based digital elevation model （DEM） data at home and abroad. Then, we focus on the extraction method based on regular grid DEMs and pay attention to the problem in the actual work.
