摘　　要：《官话指南》是日本明治维新后由日本人独立编写的第一部北京官话口语教材。这部书在明治时期重印了40多次,还多次被改编为英语、法语对照的汉语教材,即使在近代中国也是学习官话口语必备的教科书,在世界汉语教育史上产生了深远的影响。本文从《官话指南》的版本流传以及内容的编排等方面剖析它对日本近代汉语教育史的贡献。The Guide to Kuan Hua was the first textbook of Peking spoken Mandarin written independently by Japanese following the Meiji Restoration. The book was reprinted over forty times during the era, and later adapted to its corresponding English and French editions. It was also a must read book of its kind in early modem China, exerting enduring impact on the worldwide history of Chinese language education. This paper intends to analyze its benefits to the history of Chinese language education in early modem Ja- pan through examining the circulation of its editions and compilation of its contents.
