摘　　要：段洪光为白族医家的代表人物之一,他继承祖传,博采众长,医理透彻,实践丰富,疗效显著,尤其在治疗胃病等慢性病方面更是有不少独到见解,享有"德高医湛"的声誉。深入研究其生平和学术思想,对传承和发展白族医药文化具有重要意义。Duan Hong- guang is one of the representatives among Bai＇s folk physicians,who not only inherited medicine from ancestors,but also learned widely from other physicians. With thorough comprehension on medicine and abundant practice,his effective in treatments are remarkable and has many unique insights,especially in chronic diseases（ such as stomach illness）,which honored him the reputation ＂ The Respected Medical Light＂. Further study of his life and academic thoughts is of great significance in the inheritance and development of Bai＇s medicine culture.
