摘  要:高校退休教师具有声望地位高、专业知识丰富、国家保障充足、社会参与意识强等特点,是重要的智力资源。但他们在社会参与中,存在法制不健全、就业岗位少、参与机制不完善、知识成果宣传不到位、与在校师生交流少、社会老年歧视观点、自身意识等局限。因此,应完善法律规范,丰富参与渠道,健全参与制度,使参与机制常态化,加强与师生交流,注重成果宣传,创设尊老环境,树立新型老龄观等,更好地保障高校退休教师社会参与。Retired university teachers have high prestige,rich professional knowledge,sufficient security privileges and a strong sense of participation.But over their social participation,there exist some limitations:an imperfect legal system and participatory mechanism,fewer jobs,inadequate popularization of their intellectual achievements and communication with teachers and students,ageism in the society,selfconsciousness,etc.Therefore,to guarantee their social involvement,some measures are suggested as follows:improved legislation,expanded channels of their social involvement,normalized participatory mechanism,strengthened communications with teachers and students,better publicity for their intellectual achievements,establishment of a community showing respect for the elderly,and a new outlook on aging.
