摘  要:Tm:YAG晶体以其优越的特性在产生2μm激光方面得到广泛应用。基于Tm:YAG激光器准三能级系统,建立了激光二极管(LD)侧面抽运Tm:YAG激光器抽运阈值的理论模型,并对不同振荡模式下的抽运阈值进行数值模拟。结果表明,通过改变输出耦合率可以实现Tm:YAG激光器输出波长在2.02μm和2.07μm波长的调控。在输出镜耦合率小于8.07%时,具有较大发射截面的2.02μm振荡模式被具有较小重吸收损耗的2.07μm振荡模式所抑制,从而实现高功率全固态LD侧面抽运2.07μm波长的Tm:YAG激光器。并搭建了侧面抽运Tm:YAG激光器系统进行实验验证。结果表明,实验结果和理论预测完全一致。Tm:YAG crystal is widely used in generating 2 mm laser due to its superior characteristics. Based on quasi- three- level laser system, a theoretical model of laser diode(LD) side- pumped Tm:YAG laser is presented, and the pump threshold power under different oscillation conditions is simulated. The results indicate that wavelength switchable Tm:YAG laser between 2.02 mm and 2.07 mm can be realized by changing the output coupling rate. Laser oscillation at 2.02 mm with larger stimulate emission sections is suppressed when output coupler is less than 8.07%, consequently, high power solid-state LD side-pumped Tm:YAG laser located at 2.07 mm is achieved. Experimental results prove the accuracy of the theoretical prediction.
