摘 要:随着立体显示技术的发展,3-D视频越来越受到关注。3-D视频的内容通常是为特定的观看条件制作的,当实际观看条件改变时,不合理的视差范围不但会影响立体效果,还会使人产生头晕、不适感。为了保证3-D视频的最佳观看效果,该文提出了一种3-D视频的视差优化调整方法。该方法首先提出视觉舒适区准则,根据给定的显示屏和观看距离计算视差舒适范围,采用匹配代价搜索和图像细分快速估计3-D视频图像对的视差范围,将原视差范围通过分段线性变换方法映射到视差舒适范围,并利用新的视差范围绘制出虚拟视图。该方法使给定的3-D视频能够适用于各种观看条件,在增强其立体效果的同时,不引起眼睛疲劳、头晕现象,并且用户可以根据个人偏好自主调节立体效果,以达到最佳观看效果。实验结果表明该方法实用有效。With the development of stereoscopic disparity,3-D video has gained more and more attention.3-D video is generated for a special viewing condition. When the viewing condition changes,inappropriate disparity range affects stereoscopic effect,even leads to dizziness or discomfort.In this paper,a method for disparity adjustment was developed to ensure the best viewing effect.The method uses two criteria for the visual comfort zone to calculate the disparity range of comfort with given 3-D screen and viewing distance,with matching-cost searching and image subdivision then explored to calculate the disparity range of input 3-D images.The original disparity range was mapped to the disparity range of comfort by piecewise linear mapping,with a virtual image obtained according to the mapped disparity range.By using this method,agiven 3-D video can be watched for different viewing conditions with enhanced stereoscopic effect and without causing eye fatigue and dizziness,while users can independently adjust the stereoscopic effect according to personal preferences to achieve an optimal viewing experience.Experimental results show that the developed method is practical and effective.
