摘　　要：从2013年12月起,大学英语四、六级考试的试卷结构和测试题型作局部调整,其中最显著的变化就是翻译题的测试,即由原来的单句汉译英调整为140～200字的段落汉译英,占整个考试分值比例的15%。翻译题难度和比重的增加,使得一直以来被忽视的大学英语翻译教学开始受到重视,大学英语翻译教学改革势在必行。From December 2013, College English Test （CET） 4 mad 6, the standard English proficiency examination in Chi- na, were planned to make partial changes and adjustments to the structure and type of the test. One of the most significant changes is the test for C-E translating, which accounts for 15% of the proportion of the whole test score. Students are required to translate a short passage about 140-200 Chinese characters instead of several sentences. College English translation teaching is gaining in- creased attention because of the tougher national English test. Thus it can be seen that reform of college English translation teaching is imperative.
