摘　　要：有关《帕梅拉》的矛盾解读是多重张力汇合的结果。读者在阅读过程中可能认同到两种帕梅拉形象,一种为理查逊在小说中建构起来的作为道德楷模的帕梅拉形象,另一种则为帕梅拉在信件中建构起来的有着微妙心理的自我形象。这两种帕梅拉形象间的张力导致了《帕梅拉》的矛盾解读。The contradictory interpretations of Pamela is the result of multiple tensions. Readers may agree to two different images of Pamela during their process of reading. One is the image constructed by Richardson in the fiction as the moral model, while the other is the self-image with the subtle psychology constructed in Pamela＇s letters. The tension between these two images results in the contradictory interpretation of Pamela.
