摘　　要：玛格丽特·劳伦斯是当代加拿大女性文学巨匠,她的小说《潜水鸟》生动地塑造了印第安梅帝女孩皮格特的人物形象,本文通过对皮格特人物形象建构的分析来说明女性主义叙事学中的叙事声音在文中所起到的重要功能和作用。Margaret Laurence was a giant of Canadian literature, the story The loons can be considered as her masterpiece of her short novels. From the beginning to the end the female narrative voice in the novel finds expression in the use of meek language, but displays female consciousness and strengthened the usage of symbolism.
