摘　　要：回顾《辽宁石油化工大学学报》特色栏目《石油化工》的成长历程。介绍特色栏目在成长过程中突出策划意识、关注石化热点,努力为作者、读者服务,积极为地方经济发展献计献策,努力提高期刊影响力的实践经验,为地方院校学报解决缺乏特色的问题提供参考。This paper reviews the development of the characteristic column ＂Petrochemical＂ in Journal of Liaoning Shihna University. The paper makes a detailed introduction of the attempts in publishing the characteristic column, including emphasizing planning awareness, paying attention to petrochemical hot issues, nurturing the awareness of serving authors and readers, and actively contributing ideas to the development of local economy, so as to improve the journal influence. The practical experience mentioned above will provide a solution for journals of local colleges and universities that are facing the problem of shortage of their characteristics.
