摘　　要：屯垦戍边是历代中央王朝维护西北边疆安全的重要战略,屯垦戍边在西汉首开统一西域大幕的过程中起了重大作用,汉朝的西北屯垦戍边减轻了国家的经济负担,维护了汉朝时期我国西北地区的边疆安全和稳定,有效地保护了丝绸之路的畅通,促进了中西交流和社会的发展,对我国古代边疆的安全战略做出了重要贡献,同时对当今的国家西进战略和丝绸之路经济带的建设具有借鉴意义。The exploitation of virgin land in border area by troops was an important strategy for many dynasties to maintain the security of the northwest frontier, the Settlement played a very important role in the Western Han Dynasty to open the first western big screen in the unified process , the Settlement strategy of the Northwest guaranteed the supply of the rations and solved the difficult rations transportation, the Settlement strategy reduced the burden on the national economy and maintained the security of the Han Dynasty Northwest frontier regions ; as well as smoothed Silk Road and promoted exchange between China and Western, the Settlement strategy of the Northwest has made important contributions to the frontier of ancient China＇s security strategy at the same time the construction of the national west development strategy and the Silk Road Economic Belt has the reference significance.
