摘 要:目的比较在工作状态下两种玉米芯(大颗粒和小颗粒)和杨木刨花垫料的物理性状,以探讨更有利于大、小鼠饲养的实验动物垫料。方法在国标GB 14925—2010环境标准范围内,在鼠盒内添加同体积垫料,通过吸水试验、干燥试验、保温试验、粉末率测定,比较两种玉米芯(大颗粒和小颗粒)和杨木刨花3种材料的物理性状。结果鼠盒内垫入相同体积的垫料以杨木刨花质量最轻;大颗粒玉米芯吸水率为最高,其次为小颗粒玉米芯,杨木刨花吸水性最低;杨木刨花的干燥速度明显快于玉米芯,两种玉米芯垫料干燥速度相对较慢;杨木刨花的保温性能优于玉米芯,但粉末率高于玉米芯。结论不同材质和规格的垫料其物理性状参数不同,有其优势也有不足之处。在日常饲养工作中,选用哪种垫料,需结合实验室的具体需求综合考虑。Objective To provide basic data on laboratory rodent bedding choice under working condition. Method The mouse cages were filled with the equal volumes (500 ml) of aspen shaving and corncob beddings in two particle size (big or small) , respectively. In the working condition complying with the National Standard GB 14925 -2010, the mass and the physical properties of the three beddings, volumetric absorbency, evaporation rate, heat preservation, and dust particle production, were examined. Result The mass of aspen shaving was significantly lower (P 〈0. 001 ) than those of the two corncob beddings. In contrast, corncob beddings had the significantly higher (P 〈 0. 001 ) absorbency when compared to aspen shaving bedding, and the absorbency of the small particle corncob was lower (P 〈0. 001 ) "than that of the big one. Evaporation rate was found faster (P 〈0. 001 ) for aspen shaving than for the two corncob beddings, and there was no difference between the two corncob beddings. The aspen shaving generated significantly more (P 〈 0. 001 ) dust particles than the two corncob beddings. Conclusion The parameters of physical properties are correlated with the material and shape of the beddings. The advantage and disadvantage of each bedding should be fully estimated when a facility chooses bedding for laboratory rodent husbandry.
