3%~4%。The PLA/HA composites were prepared via solution blending and ultrasonic oscillation. The materials were characterized by SEM and IR. The performance of the PLA/HA composites, such as mechanical properties, hydrophilicity, thermal stability and degradation were studied. The results show that:the HA particles are uniformly dispersed in PLA matrix, there is no agglomeration; Compared with the pure PLA materials, the bending strength of PLA/HA composites are increased 7. 9 MPa,and the decline of the tensile strength of the composite is not obvious; The hydrophilic properties and thermo stability of the PLA/HA composites are improved because of the addition of HA particles. Certain amount acid of metabolites of PLA were neutralized by HA particles in PLA/HA composites during the process of degradation,so self-catalysis effect and speed of the materials are reduced,p H value is improved, and weight loss rate of the materials is slow down. The mass loss of the composites was less than 1% during the initial 6weeks,and the final mass loss was 5. 8% at the 12 th week. The mass loss of the composite was smaller than that of pure PLA materials by about 3% ~ 4% in the mid-later period of degradation.
