Start-up Process and Sludge Characteristics in Novel Reactor with Controllable Internal Circulation for Treating Cassava Wastewater

摘  要:对新型可控内循环厌氧反应器处理木薯废水的启动过程进行了研究,并从颗粒污泥的沉速、密度、VSS/SS值、比产甲烷活性(SMA)、胞外聚合物(EPS)等角度分析了启动过程中颗粒污泥特性的变化。反应器启动成功后,在进水COD为7 000 mg/L的条件下,对COD的去除率为92%左右;颗粒污泥的SMA为218.6 m LCH4/(g VSS·d),平均粒径为3.1 mm,沉速为96.24 m/h,表现出良好的产甲烷活性与稳定性;而颗粒污泥的EPS总量达到38.60 mg/g VSS,其中多糖为24.63 mg/g VSS,蛋白质为13.97 mg/g VSS。利用三维荧光光谱对启动过程中颗粒污泥EPS组分的变化进行了分析,第25、55和70天在光谱中的Ex/Em为280/360、210/340和420/470 nm处都出现了明显的吸收峰,其分别为色氨酸蛋白、简单芳香蛋白和辅酶F420,且随着进水有机负荷的逐渐增加,荧光强度逐渐增强,颗粒污泥性能良好。The start-up process of a novel anaerobic reactor with controllable internal circulation for treating cassava wastewater was studied. The characteristics of granular sludge in the anaerobic reactor during the start-up process were analyzed from aspects of sludge settling velocity, sludge density, VSS/ SS, specific methanogenic activity (SMA) and extracellular polymeric substances (EPS). When the an- aerobic reactor was successfully started up, the COD removal efficiency reached 92% at the influent COD concentration of 7 000 mg/L. The SMA of granular sludge reached 218.6 mLCH4/( gVSS ~ d) , the aver- age diameter was 3.1 mm, and the settling velocity was 96.24 m/h, which demonstrated that the granu- lar sludge showed good methanogenie activity and stability. The total EPS of granular sludge was 38.60 mg/gVSS, in which polysaccharide and protein were 24.63 mg/gVSS and 13.97 mg/gVSS respectively. In addition, the components of EPS of the granular sludge during the start-up process were analyzed by using three-dimensional fluorescence spectra (EEM). Each EEM spectra provided information about three major substances of EPS : tryptophan protein ( Ex/Em = 280/360 nm), aromatic protein ( Ex/Em = 210/340 nm) and coenzyme F420 ( Ex/Em = 420/470 nm) at 25 d, 55 d and 70 d. With increasing of organic loading rate in the influent, the fluorescence intensity gradually increased and the performance of granular sludge was also well.
