摘　　要：我国高等教育自1999年扩招以来,发展速度惊人,规模空前。高校"大扩招"促使高等教育由"精英教育"转向"大众教育",但随之,也催生出高等教育过度问题。高学历者面临的择业形势严峻、起薪低廉、高能低就等"知识失业"问题,亟待我们理性地反思高等教育过度问题,并以科学发展观为指导,妥善处理好高等教育与经济、社会的可持续发展。Since 1999, the higher education in China has developed by leaps and bounds. ＂Large-scale enrollment ＂ in higher education makes higher education change from ＂elite education＂ to ＂popular education＂; therefore, the well-educated are in great difficulty in finding jobs; and even though they find jobs, their salaries are poor, or the jobs do not satisfy them. As a result, we should think over these problems, and deal with the relationship between higher education and the sustainable development of economy and society under the guide of scientific approach to development.
