清末民初温州基督教本色化探微

摘  要:本色化是从十九世纪末开始到二十世纪中叶基督教在我国发展的一个重大历史潮流,温州是我国基督教本色化起步较早、成果较为丰硕的地区之一。从二十世纪初开始,温州的基督教信徒一直居于全国各教区的前列。中国政府对基督教的政策和温州知识分子对基督教的态度总体朝向明朗接纳方向的变迁,及西方教会本土化及转向下层民众传教等政策和策略的推行是温州早期基督教本色化的契机。温州基督教本色化主要表现为:适应本地风俗从直接布道到间接布道;适应温州本土文化以温州模式布道;参与地方公益事务融入温州社会等。Indigenization is one of the major historical trends of the Christian development in China from theend of the 19th century to the middle of the 20^th century, Wenzhou is one of the areas where the indigenizationof Christianity started earlier and the achievementts were fruitful. From the beginning of 20th century, thenumber of Christians in Wenzhou has always been in the forefront of all the parishes of our country. TheChinese government’s policy toward Christianity and Wenzhou intellectuals’ attitudes to Christianity havegradually changed into an acceptable direction. Besides, the localization of Western churches and theimplementation of policies and strategies, such as unwashed missionary have become the turning point of theindigenization of Christianity in Wenzhou. There are many ways of the indigenization of Christianity inWenzhou such as adapting to the local customs by changing the direct preach into indirect preach, adaptingto the local culture of Wenzhou by preaching in a Wenzhou model, blending in the Wenzhou society byparticipating in the local public affairs.
