摘　　要：以青海省图书馆阅览室对密集书架的操作实践为例,介绍了密集书架的设计,阐述了密集书架的功能,归纳出3种不同文献(图书、期刊、报纸)的排架方式及存在的问题,以期对其他图书馆密集书架的操作提供借鉴。Taking Qinghai Library＇s operation practice of utilizing the compact bookshelves in the reading room as an example, this paper introduces the design of the compact bookshelf, expounds the functions of the compact bookshelf, sums up the shelving modes for three different kinds of documents（books,periodicals,newspapers） and existing problems,hoping to provide reference for the operation of compact bookshelves in other libraries.
