摘　　要：在多网共存、网络不断发展演进的大趋势下,为了高效率、低成本地部署和运营多制式网络,引入了多模基站。首先阐释了多模基站的技术原理;然后重点研究了多模基站部署的关键问题,并探讨了多模基站的应用场景、组网形态及多制式网络共站址部署方案;最后给出了多模基站在LTE网络建设及现有GSM网络向UMTS或LTE分阶段演进过程中的应用建议。In the context of multi-network coexistence and sustained network evolution, multi-mode base station （BS） is introduced to deploy and operate multi-mode networks in an effective and low-cost way. First. the funda-mental principle of multi-mode BS is introduced. Then, the key points to deploy multi-mode BS are analyzed in depth, as well as the application scene, networking topology and deployment scheme of multi-mode network coexistence for multi-mode BS are discussed. Finally, some suggestions about multi-mode BS in both LTE construction and the staged evolution from existing GSM network to UMTS or LTE are put forward.
