To prevent the risk of cross- infection of microsporidia from wild Fruticicola ravida for Bombyx mori, and develop new bio- control preparations for agricultural pests. The study on the detectability of microsporidia from Fruticicola ravida was conducted using different concentration gradients of Nosema bombycis to mock- infect Fruticicola ravida. The results showed that the detectability of microscopic examination of the spores was 0 when the concentrations of Nosema bombycis in the samples were lower than 8 × 102 spores per m L; the detectability of microscopic examination of the spores was 1 when the concentrations of Nosema bombycis in the samples were equal to or greater than 8 × 103 spores per m L; the detectability of microscopic examination of the spore was random when the concentrations of Nosema bombycis in the samples were between 8 × 102 and 8 × 103 spores per m L. The results indicate that the prevention and control work of the cross- infection of microsporidia in Fruticicola ravida for Bombyx mori should also be strengthened when the Nosema bombycis from Fruticicola ravida near the mulberry park cannot be detected using artificial microscopic examination.
