摘　　要："僮"(今作"壮")到底什么时候成为民族称谓,学界争论颇多。一般认为,南宋时作为族称的"僮"已经出现。其实,根据文献记载,"僮"族之称谓,在北宋已屡屡出现,更早可追溯到唐朝。There have been many debates about when ＂Tong＂ （today＇ s Zhuang） became a name of ethnic group. It is generally believed that it appeared as a name of ethnic group in the Southern Song Dynasty. In fact, according to documents, it appeared as a name of ethnic group frequently in the Northern Song Dynasty, and even earlier in the Tang Dynasty.
