摘　　要：《死者》,收录于爱尔兰作家詹姆斯·乔伊斯(James Augustine Aloysius Joyce)的短篇小说集《都柏林人》。本文是作者品读《死者》后的体会。这些感悟与当时的社会背景、历史意义关系不大,只是基于作品本身,尊重文本字里行间后的再创造。格瑞塔(Gretta)是故事的女主人公。这篇散文结合原作,融入想象,重塑了这位女主人公的心路历程。The Dead is a short story composed by the Irish,author James Augustine Aloysius Joyce, and it is included in his collection Dubliners. This essay focuses on the associations related to the short story. And all of these associations almost have nothing to do with the contemporary social background or any hint of the piece＇s historical meaning; its mere emphasis is to be put on the literary work itself. And the recreation extends upon the heroine Gretta~ psychological and conscious changes. These changes are subjective inspirations firmly rooted on the original story. This essay can be in- terpreted as some sort of recreation.
