摘 要:为改善常规全光纤马赫-曾德尔干涉仪(MZI)型滤波器的输出特性,提出了由2个2×2光纤耦合器和1个"8"字形光纤谐振环级联组成全光纤MZI型梳状滤波器的设计方案。根据基本结构,应用光纤传输理论和矩阵理论,得到滤波器输出谱的表达式,对其特性进行数值模拟分析,结果表明:当耦合器分光比取一些定值时,可得到输出波形通带平坦、形态近似于方波的梳状谱图,其25dB截止带带宽和0.5dB通透带带宽明显改善,其值分别为26.2GHz和38.4GHz;器件具有一定的抗偏差能力降低了制作难度,传输损耗对滤波器消光特性的影响较小。实验结果与理论分析相吻合。In order to improve the transmission performance of conventional Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) filter, a novel all-fiber MZI interleaver is proposed and discussed in this paper. The all-fiber inter- leaver consists of two 2 X 2 fiber couplers and one 8-shaped fiber ring resonator. Based on its structure, the output spectrum expression is established and described by using the principle of fiber transmission and the matrix transfer function. The characteristic parameters, such as amplitude flatness, bandwidth and channel segregation, are analyzed and optimized. The results of numerical simulation indicate that when the first length difference of interference arms is as twice as the second or the third length differ- ence of interference arms, and the coupling coefficients of the couplers are some certain values, it will ob- tain a uniform flat-top passband and similar to square output spectrum. The 25 dB stopband bandwidth and 0.5 dB passband bandwidth are simultaneously remarkably improved, and their values are 26.2 GHz and 38.4 GHz,which are much wider than those of the conventional MZI. The device has a certain abili- ty to resist the deviation,which reduces the difficulty of making it. The influence of transmission loss on extinction ratio can be effectively reduced. The experimental results agree with the theoretical anal3}sis well. The study may provide reference for the fabrication of the apparatus later.
